Warmly lit scene that lets the comedy play.
Color and soft texture mixing to achieve rich light.

Late Morning
Light cools as Renzo and Barbarina set out on their own.

Mid-day
Highly textured.
Lighting defines location.
Cool light appears as though pouring through holes of a drain.
When Green Bird arrives, light intensifies as though the bird emits an aura.

Deserted Shore
Late Afternoon
Renzo and Barbarina on a desolate shore.  Cool and crisp light.

The scape changes when Calmon appears.  The world becomes more saturate and textured.

A restoration of the desolate conditions occurs upon Calmon's departure.

Confrontations with Truffaldino and Tartagliona happen in the low light.
Truthfulness prevails when it's

The sun rises as the Cabana appears.

A halo of light surrounds Pompea as the Green Bird flutters past.
Light restores to a natural look upon Renzo's entrance.

The most stylized lighting thus far.
Most saturate in color.
What can we do to transform us into another world? An enticing place?
Can scenery be electrified?

A magical lust-filled evening.
Lava lamps?
Neon light feel?
Seedy instead of romantic.
Look stays for Truffaldino.

As tempers rise and princesses flee the angles of light become distorted.

Nowhere Mountain
Void
Nowhere mountain becomes a land of stark contrast.  It is a world without color.
